Elmore James Jr. Bio
Elmore James Jr. is the undisputed son of legendary blues great, Elmore James, who is regarded today as the father of electric slide guitar. He influenced an entire generation of blues artists with his sizzling delta blues style, from traditional electric Chicago blues to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
The elder EJ was known for his raw, passionate performances live and in the studio. His signature song, "I Believe I'll Dust My Broom", is one of the most recognizable and enduring blues classics, and also inspired the name of his band, The Broomdusters.
His greatest follower and student was his son, Elmore James Jr.

Elmore James Jr. has joined talent with some of Chicago’s finest blues musicians to form Elmore James Jr. & the Broom Dusters.
Drawing inspiration from the cotton fields of the Mississippi Delta to the electric blues explosion of Chicago, the Broom Dusters perform great blues hits and standards like Dust My Broom, Oh Babe, Crazy ‘Bout Ida Mae, Cummins Prison Blues, Bad Feeling, and scores more.
This is blues as it was meant to be!
